How to Conquer Social Anxiety

"If you are going to buy only one book on social anxiety, this is it. This book that not only compassionately presents various perspectives on social anxiety, but it also offers a vast array of solutions. It turned out to be more of a "self help" book than I expected in more areas than just shyness. The author had experience in social anxiety, so he really hit home with things he expressed. I was able to finally overcome my social anxiety thanks to this book!"

The topics I write about are generally based on social anxiety. However, I also enjoy writing about other self-improvement techniques I feel have helped me deal with many difficulties - including SA.

The previous post is a good example of that. It is merely a coping technique that can be applied to many difficult situations - and I have used this with great success.

For me, social anxiety is a very deep-rooted, complex condition. I dont pretend to have all the answers - I wish I did. However, I have had genuine success in overcoming many of my SA related issues in the past few years.

I have included topics such as motivation and the cycle theory because these, although not a cure in themselves, are still a part of the overall process - a small part of a much larger picture.

It will be some time before people will be able to visit this site and say, hey, so thats how he did it. It is a work in progress. In fact, I have not even begun writing about the specifics of how I turned my life around.

If you see a post about some technique that Ive had success with, and youre wondering how that simplistic method could cure a serious condition like social anxiety, I encourage you to read the rest of the posts. Each day, I will try to include another very small part of the entire picture. Honestly, I wish I could sum it up in one page - or even several pages- that would be fantastic!
